Glass
Someplace, somewhere, there is a girl.
Her mirrors are abandoned under black curtains
but her hands still travel to the blemish on her nose
and her face still sears with the same pain.
"Rudolph"
Someplace, somewhere, there is a boy.
He relies on alcohol to drive the memories away,
but among the empty bottles he can still see
the blurry silhouettes of laughter.
"Four Eyes"
Someplace, somewhere, there is your friend
lying at the base of his apartment
drowning in a sea of scattered glass,
and trapped between his fingers, a final note.
"Very funny."
